Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also known as a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if it is being used. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.

Media

If you are a registered user and upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images with location EXIF tags. Visitors to the site can download and read full location data from images on the site.

Cookies

If you comment on the site, you will be able to choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies, so that the next time you write a comment, the above information will be conveniently filled in. Cookies expire after one year.

If you visit the login page, we will create a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal data and will be deleted when the browser is closed.
